I wanted the first reflective entry I write about Haiti be about the authenticity of Haiti, the REALness of every color and emotions, of the society period. Unfortunately, I survived the catastrophic earthquake of January 12, 2010 in Port-au-Prince. So please forgive me if positivity and quirkyness is thrown out the window.

Hi everyone
I’ve been in Haiti for exactly two weeks. I have LOTS to write, so many observations, so much analysis and emotions (both negative and positive). I’ll be back during the week to write a thought-out entry on the reality I’ve experienced so far.
