Life isn’t a beach!
I just realized that I put a lot of photos of the beach on my blog. Ironically, I rarely go to the beach. I only happen to have my camera ready when there’s a beach involved. I live a pretty mundane and “normal” life. I go to work so I can have some money, I have a horrible commute, I hang out with my family and my dog during the weekends. At times, I go out to the bar with my friends or we go eat or just sit down and talk. Perhaps the next time I have a “normal” weekend night or a week day, I’ll take some photos. Just know that the way to my heart is through my stomach, I LOVE food. My goal is to try every restaurant in Petion-Ville :-D and now inspired by my cousin, I have grown a passion for cooking. I even read food blogs to torture myself! This weekend I really want to try the cake batter popcorn I saw on So Delushious. Hey! I came to Haiti for some excitement and found normalcy.
